What Heather Carter WILL DO for the residents of Niagara West-Glanbrook

1. Provide business expertise on issues surrounding job creation, international trade and tax incentives. Heather’s considerable experience and skills in the business community and in particular with government programs promoting new business development will be invaluable.

2. Ensure that health care funding is properly managed to deliver the best care available for our region. We cannot idly sit back and see the erosion of our world class health care system. Action needs to be taken to ensure that proper care is provided as demands increase.

3. Protect the rights and freedoms of Canadian citizens. Canada is known for being a tolerant society respecting individual differences and preferences. The Liberal Party reflects this commitment through policies that support and protect our Charter of Rights and Freedoms.

4. Address the increasingly important issues affecting our environment. Our region and our country is feeling the effects of changing and increasingly challenging environmental conditions. We must take action. Canada needs to be a world leader in developing solutions.
